A congenital condition in which the foot turns inward and downward, clubfoot can be observed in one or both feet. Statistically, clubfoot occurs in 1 in 1,000 births, more often in males. Although painless, surgical correction of the deformity is necessary in order for the patient to be able to walk normally.
