Diabetic Shoes

Advanced Foot & Ankle Care provides diabetic patients with extra depth shoes as well as custom molded shoes. Both come with either no arch support (usually for those who have custom orthotics), heath molded arch supports, or custom molded arch supports.

For those with Medicare, you may qualify for Medicare to cover the cost of the shoes and inserts under the Medicare Therapeutic Shoe Bill. We simply need to make sure you have the qualifying conditions, have your primary care physician verify that you are being treated for diabetes, and we can then measure and fit your feet for either of the special diabetic shoes and inserts.

Most of our diabetic patients have one or more of the qualifying conditions required by Medicare to cover the shoes and inserts. We have a number of companies we partner with that make the shoes and inserts, and have a wide selection of shoe types, styles, and colors.

The companies we partner with have shoes and inserts that are certified by Medicare as meeting the requirements for quality assurance so that you can be confident you are getting a well-made shoe that provides for your individual needs.
