Warts

Caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV), warts can be found on the tops, sides, or more frequently, the bottoms of the feet. Warts are usually found separately or in a closely growing cluster of lesions, called a mosaic.

Warts can be addressed with a variety of treatment options including topical agents, freezing, injections, or laser or surgical excision. A podiatrist can discuss these options with you and then decide on a treatment that best suits your lifestyle. Even after successful treatment, warts may return and require additional treatment.
